One of the services we offer men is the opportunity to walk through a process of discovery of their personal mission in life, as written on their heart by God, their Creator. We call it your North Star. Like that celestial anchor, we can see our North Star wherever we are in life, and every other aspect of our lives should ro- tate around it.
It’s a powerful, life-impacting experience, as so well described by a recent participant named Ben:
Do you feel lost and uncertain about your life’s journey? Are you longing for someone to help you navigate through life’s storms? Craig Glass, a Master Mariner, possesses the knowledge and wisdom gained from years of navigating life’s challenges. He can guide you toward the North Star, the divine direction for your life’s voyage.
Let Jim Hughes or me know if you would like guidance in this same life voyage.

Resources, Webinars and Cohorts for Men
We continue to experience a strong response to our free digital resources for men: The 4 Pillars of a Godly Man and 5 Principles for Godly Men. To date, 17,000 men have downloaded them. We are convinced this reveals a deep hunger and thirst in men in our culture for truth that guides them in becoming better men.
Since the spring, we have nurtured those relationships by offering three one-hour webinars (each with 100 registrants) and four cohorts of 4 to 5 lessons each. Despite the virtual environment, different time zones, and the newness of the relationships, we have invariably experienced surprising depth and connection. It has truly caught us by surprise.
On the Horizon
As we’ve mentioned before, we thoroughly enjoy partnering with churches and other men’s ministries. We love how it reflects the Kingdom and the Church in partnership for a common cause. We’d appreciate your prayers for these partnering events in the next couple of months:
The Journey, Oklahoma City, Oct. 15-17
Tim Neff, one of the four core men who, 15 years ago, started the weekly group we call The Journey, moved to Oklahoma a few years ago. After establishing his roots in a local church, he took the vision of The Journey to the pastoral staff. They allowed him to run with it. There are now more than 50 men attending weekly sessions focused on teaching and small group discussion. I’m honored that they are using my book, Noble Journey, as their resource this fall. On top of that, Tim has asked me to visit and share with them how The Journey first came to be and how we grew to 150 men (with another 75 online) from over 40 local churches. I can’t wait to share that good news with them.
The Way of Wisdom Camp, Great Smoky Mountains, GA, Oct. 21-27
A new ministry friend, also named Tim, leads an annual teaching and fly-fishing retreat for men over 50. Most have been in high levels of business leadership and are asking foundational questions about their significance in the next season of life. My new friend has asked me to teach and guide discussions for the four sessions they call The Way of Wisdom. I told him, “Tim, in all humility and honesty, you’ve asked the right guy.”
Friends, I genuinely believe that. Over the years, the Lord has taken me through my own pilgrimage, searching for meaning, engagement, and contentment as I age. He’s given me a few things to say. I’ll be guiding us through: Why Men Matter: A Response to “Toxic Masculinity”, The 4 Pillars of a Godly Man, The Life Roles of a Man, and Building a Life-giving Legacy.
Woodmen Valley Chapel Men’s Workshop, Colorado Springs, Nov. 7, 8
Woodmen Valley, Beryl’s and my home church, has five growing locations in the Colorado Springs vicinity. They are having one of their first all-church men’s events in a long time. I’ve been asked to teach three breakout sessions and the closing plenary session. I’m genuinely honored and excited to speak on God’s Charge to Men, as we come to the end of the weekend.

We were honored to host our dedicated Peregrine Ministries board members in our home for a meeting in July.
